Aecon has extensive experience in all aspects of the utility power sector, including hydro electrical, fossil and natural gas power plants. Maintenance and capital improvement projects to power generation facilities are a key part of our field construction services. Aecon has also completed numerous cogeneration facilities, largely in a complete EPC approach.

Aecon is very active in the nuclear construction sector, having first worked on a nuclear project more than 25 years ago. We maintain a NUC-C nuclear quality management system which ensures that our construction and commissioning activities comply with CSA N285.0, CSA N2861.1, CSA N286.3 and CSA N286.4. Aecon has successfully executed a wide variety of projects in this sector from maintenance to design-build construction.
