Aecon provides top-quality fabrication and modularization components worldwide, with a specific emphasis on pipe fabrication from virtually any material, ranging from ½" to 60" in diameter. With the enormous combined capacity of our facilities across Canada, Aecon has the ability to generate more than 2.5 million diameter inches, or 125,000 spools annually.

PIPE FABRICATION

Aecon combines superior capacity, technology and a customer-driven "whatever it takes" attitude with best practices for replicating the fabrication process across multiple facilities. This approach allows for coordination of even the largest pipe or steel order or tightest production schedule.

On integrated projects, Aecon Industrial in-house fabrication delivers significant scheduling and cost advantages, coupled with single-point responsibility. All processes meet or exceed ASME, TSSA, PED, API and CWB standards.

 



MODULAR ASSEMBLY | SKID FABRICATION

Offsite modular assembly is quickly becoming the preferred method of construction in industrial development because of its cost-effectiveness, ease of transport and time saving attributes. It effectively eliminates the development barriers associated with tight schedules, changing site conditions and availability of skilled field labour.

Aecon Industrial constructs a wide range of modular assemblies using the newest design techniques. In addition to custom pre-fabricated pipe spools, our modules can incorporate a broad range of components - valves, instrumentation, cable tray and cable equipment, structural supports and more - which can all be packaged to improve project delivery.

Aecon has built more than 1,500 modules to date.
